President and founder of Expert Water Removal, Barry is an alumni of Auburn University, and hand-selected Sarasota to be the company’s headquarters for its recreational offerings including golf and fishing. Santos is a New York native. As a state-licensed general contractor and professional with the EWR team since 2014, he is in charge of Expert Water Removal’s Repair Division. In addition to managing each reconstruction crew, Santos works directly with insurance adjusters and property owners to identify the extent of damage and create accurate estimates. Santos is married and enjoys his two children.
John is one of our project managers since 2011. If you have an emergency water, mold or fire loss, John is going to manage your job. He will help to educate you on the extent of your issue, how to mitigate it, how much it could cost, as well the best way deal with your insurance and adjuster. He is kind and level-headed and makes you feel reassured. Outside of work, John enjoys cooking, wine and gourmet cuisine. Originally from Boston, he also supports New England’s fine sports teams.
Keith is always ready to jump into action when you have an emergency. As a project manager, he will meet with your adjuster to keep a claim moving along. He will explain the whole process to you to help you understand what will be happening in your home or business as we mitigate your damage. He started his restoration career in his hometown of Kansas City, Missouri. He spent 3 years handling property damages in southern California. He has finally found a home in South West Florida with Expert Water Removal since 2014. Keith is also our resident “Tech Geek”, utilizing the newest restoration technology to help process claims faster and more efficiently, such as the 3D Matterport camera. He is friendly, knowledgeable, and reliable. He enjoys spending time with his family & 2 Jack Russell Terriers. He is also a diehard Kansas City Chiefs fan.
Alex has been with Expert Water Removal since 2015 and was promoted to Project Manager in 2018. Alex is great with interior finishes and has a keen eye for recommendations on selections if you are doing a remodeling project. He has handled several large fire losses so is our resident “fireman”. Alex is an avid fisherman and boater and loves the lifestyle in Southwest Florida. He is also quite a gourmet chef as well.
Nelson is married with two sons. He is originally from Zambia. Nelson has worked at Expert Water Removal since 2012. He fulfills both team leader and production manager roles. His hobbies include automotive repair and working as a mechanic troubleshooting is a distinct pleasure.
Mike started with Expert Water Removal in 2020 as a customer service coordinator. He quickly moved into project management, then to customer development. His background in marketing and working on houses he buys and sells give him the experience he needs to help new customers plan to clean up and rebuild their damaged homes.
Tim Olds has been a sales team member since 2016. Tim comes to us with many years of sales experience and an amazing, enthusiastic attitude. He spent time in aspects of Expert Water Removal, so he knows the business from all angles. He is not afraid to pull on his boots and jump in wherever he is needed. He has a fantastic sense of humor and is quick on his feet. His attitude is contagious! You will see him at trade shows, meetings and hitting the streets each day to help people know that the EXPERTS are ready to service your needs.
Wendy is a seasoned and highly motivated professional in which her experiences and commitment to excellence allow for optimum growth opportunities. She has 20+ years of experience in marketing, consulting, sales, advertising, and building professional relationships. She has been working in the restoration business for many years and knows that an important part of our relationship with our clients is that we are there for them when they suffer the chaos of a property loss. She understands when you partner with Expert Water Removal it shows you go the extra mile to make sure that the client doesn’t have to go through the ordeal of property damage alone and assures they get the highest levels of quality and service. Wendy is the mother of two sons and her fur baby/dog named Latte. She enjoys spending time with her family and cooking on her days off.
Audrey became part of Expert Water Removal in early 2021 when she was hired as the Customer Care Coordinator. She’s originally from Atlanta, Ga., and has lived in this area for about 20 years. She has worked in the construction field for about 18 years. Audrey enjoys hiking and playing tennis. One of her favorite spots to hike in this area is the Lake Lotus Park Loop trail system.
Jennifer brings more than 20 years of insurance experience to our team at Expert Water Removal. This experience can be very valuable to customers who may be dealing with flooding or other disasters for the first time and don’t know where to get help, including how to get started with insurance claims or what to say to adjusters. Because of her background in insurance, she’s always happy to answer questions, find solutions, and help customers find peace of mind.
She recently moved to this area from Illinois. She was married in 2020. She enjoys visiting our area’s beaches and taking long walks.
Kat joined the Expert Water Removal team in May 2020. She’s originally from Massachusetts. Over the years, she performed accounting and bookkeeping duties for a variety of companies in the construction and finance industries. Kat moved to this area about four years ago. She enjoys living out in the Country with her horse, mule and 2 donkeys that keep her busy when she is not working.
